Northeast Area Specific Plan

In partnership with Perkins & Will, Nelson Nygaard, and the City of San Carlos, Plan to Place worked closely with community members and planning staff to establish a guiding vision for the development of the San Carlos Northeast Area Specific Plan. Visioning activities include virtual community workshops, pop-ups at strategic locations, focus group meetings, surveys, and thoughtful discussions with residents and property owners. The insights cultivated through these activities will be integral to advancing a comprehensive vision for the area that will inform development patterns and address the influx of jobs. In addition to facilitating visioning and engagement activities, a project website (https://www.sancarlosnortheastplan.com/) was prepared to share project and meeting information, obtain feedback on concepts presented at community workshops, and information on upcoming events.
